In February 3, the Commandant ISHII received a courtesy call from Rear Admiral De GUIBERT, Deputy Secretary General for the Sea(SGMer) of French Republic and confirmed strengthening future cooperation.
the SGMer and the JCG signed a roadmap for the Sea to promote information sharing in the field of maritime security, including maritime domain awareness(MDA) in 2021. Both agencies participate in multilateral Coast Guard meetings such as the Coast Guard Global Summit(CGGS).
