16 July 2021, Commandant Okushima received a courtesy call by Ambassador Sanjay Kumar Verma, Indian Ambassador to Japan at the JCG headquarters in Tokyo.

The Coast Guard agencies of both Indo and Japan continue to strengthen the cooperation and collaboration.
